Great American Packaging Purchases Newly Designed M275W Servo Wicketer

LOS ANGELES (Feb. 2, 2021) – Great American Packaging, a vertically integrated manufacturer of custom flexible packaging solutions, has purchased an M275W Servo Wicketer from Hudson-Sharp. Used to create plastic bags, the new piece of converting equipment will provide improved quality consistency and production efficiency, increased capacity to run more product, and better seals.

“Great American Packaging is constantly expanding our manufacturing capabilities in order to better serve our customers and their business needs,” said GAP President Bruce Carter. “The Wicketer is the latest of several recent equipment purchases, including our new state-of-the-art EVO XD 8-color flexographic press, which greatly enhances our products’ print quality.” 

The M275W Servo Wicketer is a newly designed wicketer that offers new features and time-saving adjustments to keep GAP’s machines running longer with less down time. This further enables GAP to meet customers’ needs for quick turnarounds and consistent on-time delivery.
